The 7th EPSO Conference will be held in Cork, IRELAND on May 14th and 15th, 2009*

 

Organized by the Irish EPSO member (contact person: Tracey Cooper (Chief Executive of the Health Information and Quality Authority) and Deirdre Mulholland (Head of Standards and Methodology, Healthcare Quality and Safety Directorate) and co-organized by the Netherlands’ Inspection on Healthcare (contact person: Jan Vesseur (chief inspector for patient safety, ICT and international affairs)

15.00 - 17.00   Informal discussion on the draft Directive on patients’ rights in cross border healthcare

                      and cross border quality-supervision with an introduction by Nathalie Chaze, Deputy

                      Head of Unit DG SANCO/C/5,Health Strategy and Health Systems, European

                      Commission (not yet confirmed), chaired by Jan Vesseur.

                      research on supervision of health care in Europe, by Geir Sverre Braut.
